A holiday tradition

in memory of Natalie Maguire

Natalie’s Cookie Swap

As many of you know, my mom enjoyed baking during the holidays, and she loved gifting her homemade cookies to friends and family. I have great memories of helping her in the kitchen, trying out new recipes, and laughing when we’d occasionally get distracted and burn a batch!

Please join me in upholidng her tradition of sharing cookies and making memories this holiday season!

The Details

If you’d like to participate in the cookie swap, please bring three dozen of your favorite cookies and a large container to take home your swapped assortment. I’ll provide cards to label your goodies when you arrive. If people would like to share recipes, please email me with your recipe and I will send them out to participants via email after the event.

If you’d like to come but would prefer to not participate in the cookie swap, you’re welcome to join the gathering! There will be hot chocolate, coffee, and tea as well as some light snacks. And of course, there will be an easy, festive craft for you to make and take home! Significant others and kids are more than welcome; just drop me a note in the RSVP.

Extra Merriment

Additionally, I will have some of Natalie’s favorite cookies available for people who loved her baking, or just want even more cookies! These special boxes will be a variety of Natalie’s traditional holiday recipes, homemade by me and my son. If you choose to take one, I ask that you consider making a small donation. I will collect any donations made and then give the sum to charity in memory of my mother. Natalie supported the arts, education, and animal welfare, so the donations will go to Perkins Center for the Arts and/or Burlington County Animal Alliance.

Let’s share cookies and make holiday memories!
